The Story Behind Our Elemental Cacao

Luna Love Elemental Cacao was born from a vision to create a bridge between the sacred cacao lands of Guatemala and the green heart of Ireland.

As an Argentinian woman who found a home in Ireland, I wanted to honour both the roots that nourish me and the lands where I have grown, healed, and blossomed.

This is why two of our cacaos carry Irish names:

Anam meaning Soul
Le Grá meaning With Love

These names honour Ireland, the place that welcomed me and became part of my journey.

Together with the wisdom, traditions, and communities of Guatemala, they represent a bridge between cultures, hearts, and ways of living.

During a profound journey with cacao, my guides revealed the deeper meaning within my own name and path. They showed me the dance between the masculine and feminine, the sun and the moon, action and intuition.

From this vision, Sol and Luna were born.

Sol Fire · Vitality · Courage · Transformation
Luna Water · Intuition · Softness · Flow · Connection

Each cacao carries its own spirit, story, and elemental essence, inviting you into a unique relationship with the medicine.

More than cacao, these offerings are a celebration of the farmers, the lands, the women, the communities, and the ancestral wisdom that make each cup possible.

May every sip reconnect you to nature, to your heart, and to the sacred within.

"Vision in Ireland. Roots in Guatemala. Shared with love." 🌿✨

Every bag of cacao carries a story.

A story of the land where it was grown, the communities who care for it, the hands that harvest it, and the traditions that have protected this sacred plant for generations.

At Luna Love Elemental Cacao, we believe that how cacao is sourced matters just as much as how it is shared.

We work directly with trusted partners and farming communities in Guatemala, building genuine relationships rooted in respect, transparency, and reciprocity. By choosing these origins, we are supporting small-scale farmers, women's initiatives, family-run projects, and community-led programmes that honour both people and the land.

Our intention is not simply to offer cacao as a product, but to help preserve the wisdom, traditions, and cultural heritage that surround it.

Every origin we share has been carefully selected not only for the quality of its cacao, but for the values behind it. From women's collectives creating opportunities for mothers and families, to community projects supporting dozens of small farms, each cacao represents a commitment to ethical practices and meaningful impact.

When you choose Luna Love Elemental Cacao, you are choosing more than a cup of cacao.

✦ You are supporting farming communities in Guatemala.

✦ You are honouring traditional knowledge and craftsmanship.

✦ You are investing in fair and respectful relationships.

✦ You are becoming part of a bridge that connects Guatemala and Ireland through culture, community, and love.

What is Ceremonial Cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is pure cacao in its most natural form. Made from carefully selected cacao beans, it is minimally processed to preserve its natural nutrients, rich flavour, and energetic qualities.

For thousands of years, cacao has been revered by the Indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica, particularly the Maya, who considered cacao a sacred plant medicine and a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. Traditionally, it was shared in ceremonies, celebrations, community gatherings, and moments of prayer and connection.

At Luna Love Elemental Cacao, we honour these traditions with deep respect and gratitude. Our cacao is sourced directly from small-scale farmers and community projects in Guatemala, where the beans are grown, harvested, fermented, dried, and prepared with care.

For us, ceremonial cacao is not about seeking an altered state. It is an invitation to slow down, listen, and reconnect.

Many people choose to work with cacao to support:

🤎 Heart-centred connection
🧘 Meditation and prayer
✨ Creativity and inspiration
🌿 Emotional awareness and reflection
🫂 Community and meaningful conversations
🕯 Rituals and personal practices
🌎 Connection with nature and self

Rich in magnesium, antioxidants, and theobromine, cacao offers a gentle and uplifting energy that supports focus and presence without the intensity often associated with coffee.

More Than a Drink

Ceremonial cacao is a relationship.

A relationship with the Earth, with the hands that cultivated it, with the wisdom of those who have carried its traditions for generations, and ultimately with yourself.

Every cup carries a story. The story of the soil where it was grown. The story of the farmers who nurtured it. The story of the communities who protect it. And the story you bring when you sit with it.

Our Commitment

At Luna Love Elemental Cacao, we believe that cacao is more than a product.

It is a bridge between Guatemala and Ireland. A bridge between ancient wisdom and modern life. A bridge between people, communities, and hearts.

Each of our elemental cacaos — Anam, Le Grá, Sol, and Luna — carries the unique characteristics of its origin while inviting you to connect with the elements that live within us all.

Whether enjoyed as a daily ritual, shared with loved ones, or welcomed into ceremony, our intention is simple: to share cacao with integrity, gratitude, and love, honouring both its roots and the journey it continues to inspire. 🌿✨

A Gentle Note — While many people experience feelings of openness, clarity, creativity, and connection when drinking ceremonial cacao, every experience is unique. We encourage you to approach cacao with curiosity, presence, and respect, allowing your own relationship with this beautiful plant to unfold naturally.

The Benefits of Ceremonial Cacao

Ceremonial cacao is one of nature's most nutrient-rich foods, offering a unique combination of minerals, antioxidants, and natural plant compounds that nourish both body and mind. Unlike heavily processed chocolate, ceremonial cacao retains much of its natural goodness.

Natural Energy Without the Crash

Cacao contains theobromine, a gentle plant compound in the same family as caffeine. Rather than a sudden spike, it provides a slower, more sustained alertness — a calm, focused energy that supports creativity, presence, and mental clarity.

🤎

Rich in Magnesium

One of nature's richest sources of magnesium — supporting healthy muscles and nervous system, relaxation and stress regulation, quality sleep, energy production, and heart health. Many people are deficient in magnesium, making cacao a beautiful way to support daily wellbeing.

🌿

A Source of Iron

Cacao naturally contains iron, an important mineral that helps transport oxygen around the body and supports energy levels, vitality, and overall health.

🌞

Packed with Antioxidants

Rich in flavonoids and polyphenols — powerful antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress and have been studied for their role in supporting circulation, heart health, and cognitive function.

🧠

Supports Mood & Wellbeing

Contains naturally occurring compounds associated with feelings of wellbeing: anandamide (the "bliss molecule"), tryptophan (a building block for serotonin), and phenylethylamine (PEA), linked to feelings of joy, motivation, and connection.

❤️

Supports Healthy Circulation

The flavonoids in cacao have been shown to support healthy blood flow and circulation, helping oxygen and nutrients move efficiently throughout the body.

More Than a Drink

At Luna Love Elemental Cacao, we see cacao as more than a beverage.

It is a moment to pause.
A moment to breathe.
A moment to remember what truly matters.

Whether you enjoy cacao as part of your morning routine, before meditation, during a walk in nature, or shared with loved ones, each cup is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with your heart.

Because sometimes the medicine is simply remembering to be present.

A Gentle Reminder — Every person's relationship with cacao is unique. We encourage you to approach it with curiosity, gratitude, and intention, allowing your own experience to unfold naturally.

One cup. One breath. One moment of connection.
